Our Story
The Strings & Co. is a collective of professional string musicians based in the Blue Mountains Greater Sydney region, creating refined live music to provide luxurious experiences of weddings, events, and artistic projects. We are brought together by a shared commitment to artistry, collaboration and refined performance.
Classically trained, each instrumentalist brings extensive experience from their own distinct musical career. Many of our musicians have worked alongside one another for years, forming longstanding musical relationships that create a natural sense of cohesion, sensitivity and ease across every performance and creative engagement.
Our work spans weddings, events and creative projects, with performances shaped by a deep understanding of ensemble playing and musical expression.
Alongside our work together, our musicians continue to perform across orchestral stages, recording projects and live productions throughout Australia and internationally.

At The Strings & Co., we design live music experiences tailored to each setting. Our work becomes the soundtrack to life’s defining moments ~ celebrating love, shaping wedding experiences, holding space in times of reflection, and enriching creative collaborations with sincerity and musical depth.
Our performances are immersive and considered, from a single, perfectly placed note to a warm and enveloping sound that elevates the entire atmosphere. With flexible ensemble formations, we tailor both scale and sound ~ from intimate acoustic settings to larger, amplified experiences.

Alongside a wide selection of repertoire, we welcome individual song requests and are able to create bespoke arrangements from a variety of written musical sources, translating them into elegant string performances.
